Wood Staining
While wood staining is an excellent way to change and elevate the look of different wood furniture, it is better for protection. It helps preserve the wood from moisture, sun exposure, and rotting, keeping its natural look and properties.
When staining, we can use oil, water-based, varnish, or polyurethane stain, depending on the client's goal and budget. We also have different stain colors depending on the finish the client wants.
Cabinet Refinishing And Repainting
When doing a kitchen remodel or renovation, cabinets are one of the main things to focus on. With quality cabinet refinish and repainting, we save our clients the time and money it would take to replace the cabinets.
Not only does it improve the appearance, but it also helps increase the cabinet's durability. We start by removing the doors and hardware, removing the existing finish and paint, repainting and cabinet refinishing, then replacing the hardware and doors.
When dealing with metal cabinets, we first clean the surface using a tack cloth or other soft material. This way, we avoid making marks on the cabinets, ensuring we get a uniform and clean finish. We then prime the surface and use a metallic paint for the desired finish.
Epoxy Flooring
Epoxy floors are famous for being glossy, beautiful, durable, and easy to clean and maintain. Epoxy is a suitable floor solution for places with high traffic, provided it remains non-porous, clean, dry, and smooth.
We, however, advise clients not to have it in spaces that receive a lot of direct sunlight. This is because the sunlight could make the floor fade, destroying its shiny appearance.
In addition to installing new epoxy floors, we apply epoxy floor coating to make it clean and non-porous. It also helps make the floor slip-resistant, making it safer for children.
Concrete Staining
Concrete staining involves applying a water-based solution onto washed concrete, making it a permanent part of the surface. It helps transform the dull concrete surface into something fun and personalized.
We use reactive and non-reactive concrete staining, which is safe for new and old concrete. The reactive staining involves an acidic solution with metallic salts that react with lime contents in the concrete. This chemical reaction creates the finished look, mostly a marble-like appearance. The process gives fewer color options and needs high safety measures.
On the other hand, non-reactive staining uses an acrylic solution which does not use a chemical reaction to change the surface's color. However, the solution contains stains that penetrate into the concrete. It gives more color options but requires a sealant because the stains might fade, flake, or peel with time.
